experimenteren & fun in Milaan: Mini living

This year at the DDW we were inspired by the work of Jessica den Hartog. Every year Dutch Design Week (DDW) takes place in Eindhoven in October. The biggest design event in Northern Europe presents work and ideas of more than 2500 designers to more than 295,000 visitors from home and abroad. The DDW is different from other design events, because it concentrates on the designs of the future.

Every year, a jury of 10 will choose the 100 most inspiring young initiatives.

exhibition the industrial essence of kranen/gille

In the Noordbrabants museum in Den Bosch ran a very interesting exhibition of the renowned Dutch designer duo Kranen/Gille. Unfortunately the exhibition has ended now, but if you did not have the chance to visit, here you will find my visual report.
The exhibition was one of a series about Dutch Design from Brabant, ‘Made in Brabant’. Both Jos Kranen and Johannes Gille live in Den Bosch, so it cannot be more local for us, and since we love local design…

Shelter suits at Milan design week

‘ We believe we can change the world together’

After meeting some people of Sheltersuit already during the Dutch Design week, we were surprised to see them again and now during the design week in Milan. We spoke to Youp, who enthusiastically told us their story.
